BUGAJ ARCHITECTS offer full architectural services, from program development and schematic planning, to construction administration and interior design, with structural, mechanical and electrical engineering provided through its experienced team of consultants. Servicing Residential, Commercial and Institutional clients.

With care of details, the projects are executed in close relation to client and builders. Concept, design and construction are seen as inseparable issues to ensure an optimized final outcome. Bugaj Architects is Chicago based architectural practice with a STRONG DESIGN FOCUS. We enjoy a reputation for innovative design, highly personalized service, and efficient management of the most complex construction, renovation, and restoration projects. With aim at providing its clients with inventive and site responsive design solutions which confirms to the physical, social, cultural and budgetary parameters. It is very important for us to link architectonic components with intensive studies of surfaces that gain maximum impact through the use of a color or topography. This firm represents a method in which exterior architecture and interior architecture come together in a model combination.

ANNA BUGAJ

If you can't find it, design it! -her motto in the office. I am a problem solver, I'm not in business to create pretty things. As designers we have a responsibility to make things that are functional and long lasting. My design has strenght, I don't create limp design, sweet or breakable. This is what the Bauhaus was all about: simple things that work, that last, that are good, that are real. My...our favorite materials are simple, plain, and created long ago and their design and objective last a long time, in five hundred years from now, they will still be beautiful. There is no need to decorate it. Design is not a style to me. It's an attitude!

ARTUR KACZMAREK

Artur Kaczmarek has been with Bugaj Architects since its early beginnings. Being in a position of a Project Architect he has completed numerous projects ranging from residential to multi-use to commercial developments. Artur has graduated with Bachelors degree from University of Illinois at Chicago and obtained his Masters degree from the same School of Architecture as well. With his interest in architectural technology, as a project architect he emphasizes usage of innovative and as well proven construciton methods and materials, renewable energy sources and designs, to create projects that are environmentally and economically conscious. Artur is Licensed Architect in State of Illinois.

ALEX ROBBINS

Alex is a native Chicagoan who relishes the opportunity to make an impact on the city he grew up in. For him, architecture’s vast history serves as a collection of lessons ready to be applied towards the future. Infusing these lessons with modern building technologies to create wholly new spaces is what most drew Alex toward architecture. In his free time, Alex enjoys biking around the city in search of unexplored sites. Alex received his Bachelor of Architecture from Syracuse University, studying across Syracuse, New York City, and Florence, Italy.

ROGER VILLARREAL

A recent Chicago transplant, Roger Villarreal has worked with numerous architects, interior designers, product designers, developers etc. to create a visual representation to their ideas. Having graduated from the University of Monterrey, he quickly developed a passion for 3D visualizations and has been working in that sector ever since. When he is not in front of a computer screen working, you can probably find him staring at a different screen searching how to be more efficient when working. He also enjoys riding his bike around town, eating a lot and extreme weather conditions.

PRZEMYSLAW MARCISZ

Prior to joining Bugaj Architects, Przemyslaw worked as an interior and furniture designer for several design and construction firms. He studied architecture at top Eastern European universities across Poland and Lithuania, eventually moving to the US in 2015. Thrilled to be part of the team, he loves wide spectrum of projects he gets to work on, always trying to deliver top-notch drawings. After work you might see him throwing headkicks in his MMA gym, or headbaning and moshing on nearest heavy metal show.

DAMEN

Damen is in charge of office quality control. He graduated with highest honors in behavioral science from Pet Smart University at Chicago. Full of energy, Damen meets and greets all the clients. He also fills inn as a drafter, helps with 3d image visualizations and model building, and provides companionship, doggie love and energetic inspiration for the office.
